Mayor Leo P. Carlin of Newark has reactivated the Mayor’s Commission on Group Relations which had been inactive since last July, with the change in form of municipal government here.
Mayor Carlin appointed 15 residents of the city to serve on the commission, none of whom was a member of the previous commission.
