Mayor Friedrich Sahm has submitted his resignation to Minister of the Interior Frick, it was officially announced here today, and it has been accepted with the approval of Reichs Chancellor Adolf Hitler.
According to the announcement, Dr. Sahm is being considered for a post in the Government service.
Dr. Sahm was recently ousted from the Nazi party on charges of having violated its principles by patronizing a Jewish department store. He was later reinstated in the party.
It is understood that the mayoralty will be combined with the post of Nazi commissar for Berlin, which is held by Dr. Julius Lippert.
