The fifteenth anniversary dinner of the Grand Street Boys’ Association will be held at the Commodore Hotel next Sunday evening, February 10, with Mayor LaGuardia as guest speaker, it was announced Friday.
The dinner will be a testimonial to the association’s president, Henry Sobel, who leaves February 13 for a Mediterranean cruise and a visit to Palestine.
Other notables, members of the Grand Street Boys, expected to attend, are Mayor Meyer C. Ellenstein of Newark, N. J., District Attorney William C. Dodge, Judge Otto Rosalsky, Borough President Samuel Levy, Supreme Court Justices William T. Collins and Aaron J. Levy, and Vincent C. Cullen, president of the National Surety Co. Joseph Levenson will officiate as toastmaster.
