The Albert Einstein medal for humanitarian service was presented tonight to James G. McDonald, chairman of President Roosevelt’s Advisory Committee on Refugees, at a dinner at the Hotel Astor sponsored by the committee of one hundred. The presentation was made by Mrs. Sol Rosenbloom. James N. Rosenberg, in an address, declared it fitting that the award “should go to McDonald, soldier and champion for an all embracing social justice and humanitarianism which recognizes no distinction of creed or country.”
