James G. McDonald, High Commissioner for Refugees from Germany, is sailing tomorrow for New York to take up a number of important questions with American organizations interested in the fate of Jewish and non-Jewish refugees from Germany.
Mr. McDonald made it known today that he is contemplating a trip to South America for the purpose of organizing immigration of Jewish refugees to certain South American countries.
The question of coordinating his activities with the existing Jewish relief and immigration organizations will be widely discussed by him at a special conference which he contemplates calling in New York. Before leaving for South America Mr. McDonald will return to Europe for the Saar plebiscite and will also visit other European countries where Jewish refugees have become a problem.
