Nearly 500 distinguished guests last night attended a reception at the Israel legation here marking the second anniversary of the establishment of the Jewish state. Among those who participated in the celebration were Lord Pakenham, Aneurin Bevan, Foreign Under-Secretary Ernest Davies, Parliamentary leaders, representatives of practically every Embassy and legation in London, newspaper editors and Jewish leaders in this country.
