The Hebrew Butcher Workers Union’s campaign against the meat boycott initiated by the City Action Committee Against the High Cost of Living to force a reduction in prices, has borne fruit, it was announced Friday by Joseph Belsky, secretary of the union, who reported that after his charges that the boycott was a Communist-inspired affair, it began to “crumble.”
Speaking for the committee, Rose Nelson denied both that the boycott has lost force and that it is aimed against any labor union.
