In the event that United States Attorney Charles H. Tuttle resigns to accept the Republican nomination for governor, his most likely successor, according to well-informed political circles, is George Z. Medalie, one of the best known Republican prosecutors in the city. Knapp, and sent her to prison. He has been an active prosecutor for the New York Bar Association.
