Media leaks about Israel’s recent contacts with Libya jeopardize rapprochement with the Arab world, Israel’s foreign minister said. “This publication precludes secret Israeli contacts being held — not just with a specific country but in general, with all other countries,” Silvan Shalom told Israel Radio on Thursday, without confirming reports this week of a recent high-level meeting between envoys from Israel and Libya in Paris.
