The formation of a 16-man medical advisory board to give counsel and guidance to the Hebrew University-Hadassah Medical School in Jerusalem on problems of ourriculum, personnel, supplies and research, was announced simultaneously here and in Jorusalem yesterday by Mrs. Samuel W. Halprin, president of Hadassah, and Prof. Selig Brodetsky, president of the University.
Chairman of the advisory board, which includes some of the leading American medical scientists, teachers, clinical specialists and administrators, is Dr. Harry Grundfest, Associate Professor of Neurology at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University. The institution, Israel’s only medical school, began activity last May with 50 students and now has a student body of 200.
