Capt. Daniel J. Weiner of Youngstown, Ohio, will leave tomorrow for Palestine where he will begin an “experimental program of public health work and sanitary engineering,” it was announced today by Mrs. Moses P. Epstein, president of Hadassah, which is financing the project.
Capt. Weiner, formerly acting director of the Malaria Division of the Rockefeller Foundation and a consultant to the Medical Director of the U.S. Army, served as a member of the UNRRA Health Division in Italy, Egypt, Palestine and Greece.
