The meeting of the Palestine Economic Corporation which had been called for October 6th, has been postponed to October 11th at Temple Emanu-el.
Felix M. Warburg, honorary president of the Corporation, will preside. Bernard Flexner, Chairman of the Board, will speak, as will the two Palestine representatives of the Corporation, now in this country, Emanuel M. Mohl and Harry Viteles.
Abe J. David, of Elizabeth, N. J., who for the past several years has been District Attorney of Union County, N. J., is being conspicuously mentioned for appointment to either of two judicial psts—the County Common Pleas Court or the Circuit Court of the State. Prosecutor David previously served in a judicial capacity in Elizabeth some years ago. He is active in the county’s Jewish communal endeavor. Governor Moore is expected to name the appointee within a few days.
