At a special meeting of the Rabbinical Assembly of America a resolution was adopted containing an expression of faith in the British people and hope that “they will not countenance a breach of trust which so outrages the just expectations of the Jewish people.” The resolution voiced the feeling that the British people would secure the repudiation of the latest British White Paper outlining the proposed policy for Palestine.
