The Theodor Herzl lodge of B’nai B’rith here today presented the 1963 Jacob Landau award to Meir Grossman, noted journalist and prominent Zionist leader, as co-founder of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency.
The award, which was presented to Mr. Grossman on the occasion of his 75th birthday, was given to him “for starting and conducting, together with the late Jacob Landau, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency which became an important institution linking the Jewish communities throughout the world by keeping them informed on Jewish life in every country.”
