Mel Gibson, whose movie about Jesus has turned into a cultural phenomenon, is considering making a movie about the Chanukah story. Gibson, who co-wrote and directed “The Passion of the Christ,” which some Jewish groups say unfairly blames Jews for the crucifixion, said he’s planning a movie based on the book of Maccabees, the New York Daily News reported.
