The Gestapo has arrested the wife of Dr. Hanemann, Jewish communal worker, on charges of “atrocity propaganda,” it was learned today. The arrest followed her effort to obtain intervention by the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry on behalf of Dr. Hanemann, a Lithuanian citizen, who had been seized by the Nazis prior to annexation of Memel by Germany.
