A group of 100 persons gathered yesterday at the oldest Jewish cemetery in New York City to pay tribute to the memory of 17 Jews who fall during the Revolutionary War. Led by Rabbi David de Cola Pool, of the Spanish and Portuguese Synagogue, the group recalled the part which Jewish colonists played the Mar for Independence. American flags, in keeping with the traditional Memorial Day Practice, were placed at the graves of the dead.
