The Memorial Foundation for Jewish Culture announced today that applications for scholarship and fellowship grants for the academic year 1970-71 must be submitted before the end of December, 1969. It is the Foundation’s sixth annual program of grants in the field of Jewish studies. Last year scholarship and fellowship grants went to 132 candidates, including 70 scholarships for doctoral students in various Jewish fields and 62 fellowships to scholars and writers for independent projects.
