Friends and admirers of the late Judge David A. Lourie of the Massachusetts Superior Court, will gather at the Temple Mishkan, Teflla, Roxbury, on Sunday evening, May 4, for a memorial meeting.
Leading Jews and non-Jews will participate in the exercises. The committee in charge of the arrangements plans to complete the program in a few days. Some of the speakers who are expected to participate in the program include: Judge Walter Collins of the Superior Court; Hon. Channing H. Cox, former governor of Massachusetts; Frederick Mansfield, president of the Massachusetts Bar Association; Louis Lipsky, president of the American Zionist Organization, and representatives of the various communal and public institutions with which the late judge was closely affiliated.
