Jacob H. Schiff, the late American Jewish philanthropist, David Wolffsohn, former president of the Zionist Organization of the world, and the late Mr. P. W. Wysocki, Russian Jewish philanthropist, were honored yesterday when memorial tablets to them were unveiled at the Hebrew Technicum here.
Reuben Brainin, Hebrew writer of America, M.M. Ussishkin, director of the Jewish National Fund, and Mr. Hecker, director of the Technicum, delivered addresses.
On April 11, 1909, Jacob Schiff gave $100,000 for the establishment of the Technicum in Haifa.
