A memorial to 7,000 Hamburg Jews murdered by the Nazis was unveiled at the Jewish cemetery in this city. Some 1,100 Jews attended the ceremony, which was addressed by Jewish community chairman Norbert Wollheim and Hamburg Mayor H. Brauer. A wreath was received from Dr. Theodor House, president of the West German Republic.
