Mendel N. Fisher of New York, national executive director of the Jewish National Fund of America, received a citation here last night in recognition of his 25 years of service to the Zionist movement. The citation was presented to him at the Golden Jubilee Dinner of the New England J.N.F., attended by ### prominent guests.
In presenting the citation, Fred Monessen, president of the New England Jewish National Fund, declared: “It is fitting to pay tribute to a former New Englander– on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee celebration of New England–who has risen to National J.N.F. prominence and who started his Zionist activities as secretary of the New England Zionist region ever 25 years ago.” Tribute to Mr. Fisher was also paid by Vice-President Alban W. Berkley in a message from Washington.
