American Jewry is felicitating the Menorah Journal, which with its February issue enters its decennial year. Modestly begun to provide a student organ for the Intercollegiate Menorah Association, The Menorah Journal has developed into a Jewish periodical of international reputation, which has been characterized by Israel Zangwill as "by far the best organ that English-speaking Jewry possesses". In its decade of existence The Menorah Journal has printed the work of all the most famous writers on Jewish life and interests in Europe and America, and has, moreover, been instrumental in bringing out many new writers hitherto unknown to the Jewish public.
