Lillian Clark, Irva Petina, Alfio Tedesco and Geoge Cehanovsky, of the Metropolitan Opera Company, will offer a special program at the annual all-star show and fashion revue of the Israel Orphan Aslum, Saturday evening, March 10, in Madison Square Garden. pietro Cimara will be the conductor.
The operatic presentation, which will include arias from some of the world famous operas, will be one of the highlights of the performance in which more than 100 stars of the stage, screen and radio will participate, according to Judge Gustave Hartman, president of the institution. A fashion display of spring and summer styles is also on the program.
Proceeds of the event will aid in the amintenance of the city home of the asylum, 274 Second street, Manhattan, and tehe summer home in Far Rockaway.
