The district of the Jewish colony in Metulla, on the English frontier of Palestine, over which there has long been a dispute between England and France, was officially incorporated into the territory of Palestine today.
The official act of incorporation took place when the British flag was raised, with the proper celebrations, in the Jewish colony of Metulla, in the presence of Governor Symes of Samaria, Mr. Sinalair, British Police Commander of the district and Lieutenant Smith of the Palestine Gendarmerie, as well as representatives of the French authorities in Lehanon.
There has been much rejoicing among the Jewish colonists of the Metu lla district over the realization of their dong cherished desire to be a part of the Jewish National Homeland in Palestine.
