A memorial meeting to Dr. Albert Einstein was held here under the auspices of the Jewish Engineers Society with the participation of leading Mexican scientists, educators and members of the government. The meeting was held in the official Palacio de Bellas Artes.
It was attended by several Cabinet members, Nabor Carrillo director of the National University of Mexico, Yosef Kessary, Israel Minister to Mexico and representatives of the embassies of the United States and Switzerland. Manuel Sandoval Vallarta, prominent Mexican physicist Deputy Minister of Education personal friends and former pupil of the late Dr. Einstein was the major speaker.
