Joseph Meyerhoff, a Baltimore businessman and philanthropist has donated $300,000 toward completion of the new Tel Aviv Museum, it was announced at a dinner in his honor here by Mayor and Mrs. Yehoshua Rabinovitz of Tel Aviv. The Talisman Foundation of New York has awarded a $200,000 research grant to Mrs. Nechama Haran-Gera, a professor of experimental biology at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot. The grant will enable the scientist to carry out three years of research into the nature and control of leukemia in mice.
