With prominent Jews from this country and abroad in attendance, the Jewish Community of Milan celebrated the hundredth anniversary of the founding of the Milankehilian. During the ceremonies, medals were awarded to a number of community leaders and benefactors, including Harold Trobe, the Joint Distribution Committee’s director for Italy.
