Dr. Ernst Wilhelm Meyer, former first Secretary of the German Embassy, said in a speech here yesterday that”millions of Germans refuse Hitlerism and feel ashamed of it.” Dr. Meyer addressed the 43rd annual meeting of the American Academy of Political and Social Sciences at a session held at the Bellevue Hotel. When Dr. Meyer resigned in 1937 he denounced Hitler as an arch enemy of Western civilization.
