After thirteen years of service in the Immigration Department of the government of Palestine, Albert Montefiore Hyamson, director of the department, retired today.
He was succeeded by Eric Mills, whose chief assistant will be Edwin Samuel, son of former High Commissioner, Sir Herbert Samuel.
