A major event of the fall Israel Bond campaign in the city was a reception sponsored by Temple Emanu-El in honor of Abba Eban, which provided Israel with $971,600 in Israel Bond capital. The reception Wednesday also honored Maxwell M. Rabb, Congregation Emanu-El president, who received the David Ben Gurion Award from the Israel Bond Organization.
