Jews and non-Jews are joining forces to raise $25,000 for Mount Sinai Hospital in a ten-day drive which will open May 12. Edwin C. Ostermann is general chairman of the drive which is to be in the form of a membership campaign.
All officers of Congregation Beth Israel, orthodox synagogue, were reelected at the annual meeting. They are I. Cohen, president; Joseph Schlossmann, vice-president; I. Glasgow, financial secretary; William Kantrovich, recording secretary; and Sam Goldman, treasurer. Rabbi Charles Rubenstein was reelected for a term of two years.
