Immediate and energetic suppression of any attempts to interfere with studies was ordered today by the Minister of Education following anti-Semitic disturbances yesterday at the Anatomical Institute of Budapest University.
One hundred and twenty anti-Semites forcibly evicted the Jewish students from the institute yesterday. The excesses were quickly suppressed by the authorities as were the attempts to organize anti-Semitic demonstrations outside the University.
Premier Julius Goemboes, meeting the first test of his newly declared friendliness toward the Jews, declared to the press that he would not tolerate any kind of disturbances.
