A delegation of small traders yesterday visited the Ministry of Interior and demanded protection against anti-Jewish boycott inciters in the Posen and Pomerania districts.
The delegation declared that after a brief period of respite, incitement against the Jews has been renewed. Anti-Semitic boycott leaflets are widely distributed wherein the Jews are branded as swindlers and the enemies of Poland and Catholicism. The leaflets carry pictures of pigs with the inscription “Only Swine Buy from Jews.”
The agitation has added to an already aggravated situation so that the Jewish traders are on the verge of complete ruin, the delegation asserted. They demanded government action against the authors of the anti-Semitic leaflets and those responsible for their publication.
The Ministry of Interior assured the delegation that an investigation would be undertaken.
