Morris Rothenberg, president of the Zionist Organization of America, addressed a gathering of Minneapolis Jewry here today.
Speaking at a luncheon in his honor given yesterday by the Jewish community of St. Paul, Mr. Rothenberg outlined the achievements of the Zionist Organization. At a mass meeting in the Jewish Center he received an ovation when he said:
“The deepest moving force in our work for Palestine is that it may become a repository for new spiritual and cultural values. We rejoice at the extraordinary economic progress, but we must ever keep in mind that Zionist aspirations look to something beyond that.”
