Rabbi David Aronson of Beth El Synagogue, Minneapolis, was aboard the S. S. Drottingholm today, en route to Gottenborg, Sweden, which he will use as a starting point for a study of the effect of nationalist movements on Jewish residents of eastern Europe. The Drottingholm sailed from New York Tuesday.
From Gottenborg Rabbi Aronson will journey to Leningrad, spending one month in travel in the USSR. He also will tour, Poland and Austria, returning to this country in mid-August to rejoin his congregation in Minneapolis.
