Notwithstanding the assurance contained in the new prime Minister’s pronouncement regarding the fulfillment of the minorities’ “justified cultural and national demands”, thirteen deputies representing the mincrity nationalities in the National Assembly joined with six others in opposing the vote of confidence for Premier Paulpik. Sixty-five members voted in favor of the new Government’s policies.
