The appointment of Miss Miriam Peiman, formerly of Detroit, as now executive director of the Junior Council of the Mizrachi Women’s Organization of America, the national religious women’s Zionist movement, was announced today by Miss Sylvia Klepner, president of the Junior Council.
A former leader in Jewish youth movements, including Young Israel, Young Judea and Junior Hadassah, Miss Peiman came to New York recently from Detroit to take over her new post.
