Flexner, readers’ advisor of the New York Public Library, and Miss Fannie Cohn, educational director of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, are included among fourteen educators cooperating for the first unit, meeting this week, of a program of a special emergency summer course on the Adult Education movement at N. Y. U.
This course, supported by Federal relief funds and supervised by the New York State Department of Education, is mandatory for all leaders of adult education relief projects under direct supervision of the State.
