The formation of the Mississippi Assembly of Jewish Congregations was announced today by Rabbi Perry E. Nussbaum, first president of this permanent association of Jewish temples. The assembly consists of 17 congregations each of which retains its affiliation with its own national body–Reform, Conservative, or Orthodox.
