Speakers at the twenty-fifth annual convention of the Mizrachi Organization of America, religious wing of the Zionist movement, which opened here today, united in demanding that the United Nations provide a peacetime home for the world’s persecuted Jews in a Palestinian Jewish Commonwealth. At the same time the meeting sent a telegram to President Roosevelt asking that he initiate action to rescue as many Jews in Europe as possible and find havens for them in neutral or Allied countries.
