A conference of the Poel Hamizrachi, religious labor organization, at Kibbutz Rodges complained that the Histadruth had broken their 11-year-old work agreement and demanded establishment of a united labor exchange on the basis of personal registration of workers. The laborite organ Davar rejected the Poel Hamizrachi’s demands, asserting that the Histadruth was only willing to keep its agreement and if it was now broken, it was not the Histadruth’s fault.
