Rabbi Wolf Gold, president of the Mizrachi Organization of America, will arrive here today on the S. S. Majestic following a trip to Palestine as a member of a special commission of three to effect harmony within Mizrachi ranks and peace among Zionist factions in the Holy Land.
“Although the details of the commission’s work have not as yet been disclosed,” an announcement from Mizrachi headquarters here said yesterday, “the Mizrachi bureau has received the news that it has met with success in its deliberations.”
Rabbi Gold’s message will be the outstanding feature of the Mizrachi’s eighteenth annual convention in Detroit from December 29 to January 1.
Detroiters on the convention committee are Daniel and Max Temchin, Mrs. M. Rubinstein, Miss Zelda Rosenthal, L. Gendelman, Samuel Schnitz, Jehuda Rothenberg, Florence Edelman, Rabbi Stollman and Mines. Rosenthal and Spivack.
