An appeal to the Orthodox elements of the Jewish community in Palestine to disregard the promptings of the ultra-Orthodox Agudath Israel and to stand united behind the Palestine Communities Ordinance, seeking to establish a single community, was issued by an All Palestine Conference called under the auspices of the Mizrachi organization.
The conference, which concluded Friday, in its appeal urges all Palestine Jews to actively participate in the organization of the new communities and in the forthcoming elections to the Vaad Leumi, the National Council of Palestine Jewry, as provided in the Communities Ordinance.
