President Eisenhower was urged tonight by more than 1,000 delegates to the 29th annual national convention of the Mizrachi Women’s Organization of America to withhold arms from the Arab states pending their commitment to negotiate peace with Israel. In a telegram to the President, the women’s group delegates also declared a grant-in-aid to Egypt may be “wrongfully interpreted by the Arab League as American approval of the avowed Arab intention to seek a second round against Israel.”
