The late Sen. Robert F. Kennedy has been named to receive the America-Israel Friendship Award presented annually by the Mizrachi Women’s Organization of America to “distinguished Americans, not of the Jewish faith, who have contributed significantly to understanding and friendship between the peoples of the United States and the State of Israel.”
The award will be presented at the 43rd annual convention of the organization on Sept. 15, Sen. Jacob K, Javits of New York will accept the award in behalf of the slain Senator. The award is being made with the approval of the Kennedy family.
