The Mizrachi Women’s Organization ended its 14th annual convention today with adoption of resolutions urging continuance of the boycott against Germany, expressing gratitude to President Roosevelt “for his humanitarian gesture in behalf of our people in these critical times” and recommending an increase in the organization’s Jewish National Fund quota to $15,000. Other resolutions urged promotion of the sale of Palestine products, an intensified membership campaign, passage of the Wagner-Rogers bill for admission of 20,000 refugee children from Germany, and approved a budget of $100,000 and $65,000 for promotion of the organization’s Palestine activities. Mrs. Abraham Shapiro, of Brooklyn, was unanimously reelected president.
