National mobilization of Jewish strength got under way today to resist the British plan for establishment of an Arab-controlled state. In accordance with a call issued by the Jewish National Council, leaders of Jewish youth organizations, sport groups and the Boy Scouts throughout the country called on their members to prepare to carry out any emergency commands issued by Jewish leaders. In many Jewish colonies, the local committees notified the Jewish National Council that they were ready for any duties.
