The sum total of progress made in the Holy Land during the last few years, recorgnized as the work chiefly of Jews and Jewish capital, will be on dispay here in a few weeks at the Levant Fair.
Merchants here and abroad anticipate success for the enterprise, many of whose features are to be elaborate and unusual.
One of the features will be model houses, intended to demonstrate new and inexpensive methods of building construction in the Holy Land. THe dwellings are being planned to cover an area of 8,000 aquare maters and will be left standing after the Fair closes to test their durability.
Awards are to be made for the houses best suited to Association of Palestine Architects and Engineers decided at its last conference that a meeting of authoritative construction engineers will be called in the near future to disuss the various questions confornting the project.
