The discovery of a new gold field by three Jewish financiers is reported by the London “Daily News.” The parties responsible for the discovery are Sir Alfred Mond, his son, Henry, and Solly Joel of South Africa.

Two years ago an expedition, headed by Engineer Calderwood, and guided by natives, travelled through Panama until they discovered gold bearing rocks. A concession for the exploitation of the territory has been secured and a syndicate has been formed for this purpose.
